What are your check-in and check-out times?
You may check into your pyramid chalet anytime between 3:00 pm and 8:00 pm. Please inform us about your expected arrival time. Late arrivals must communicate with reception during office hours between 9:00 – 11:00 am and 3:00 – 6:00 pm by phone +1 (239) 826 39 52. Check out: 10:00 am. Late check-out available upon request with an additional charge.
What is provided in the self-catering pyramids?
These pyramids are self-catering apartments: They are equipped with all necessary amenities for living and eating in (towels & linen, kitchen equipment, washing machine etc.). Consumable supplies like paper towels, toilet paper, tissues, laundry & dishwasher soap etc., need to be procured by the guest. However, each unit is provided with a complimentary starter supply of these items. There are grocery stores as well as neighborhood markets and convent stores located nearby for your resupplying needs. Please note that due to liability reasons, Pyramids in Florida is legally not entitled to refill or replace the BBQ gas tanks in your vacation home (see detailed answer below).
What’s your cancellation policy?
"CORONA" CANCELLATION POLICY FOR STAYS UNTIL DECEMBER 18, 2022: You can cancel your stay for free until seven (7) days before your arrival. After that, the full amount is due. For all stays after December 18, 2022 our regular cancellation policy with the following fees will apply: 30% of the total rental fee if cancelled within 30 days before arrival 60% of the total rental fee if cancelled within 14 days before arrival 100 % of the total rental fee in case of No Show or curtailment of stay. We recommend you to take out insurance against cancellation of the travel contract or premature termination of the stay. Cancellation is required in writing. For all stays after Feb 28, 2021, our regular cancellation policy with the following fees will apply: Unless otherwise stated (i.e. non-refundable rates), our general cancellation policy with the following fees will apply: 30% of the total rental fee if cancelled within 4 weeks before arrival. 60% of the total rental fee if cancelled within 2 weeks before arrival. 100 % of the total rental fee in case of No Show or early departure. We strongly recommend you to take out travel insurance to cover these possible scenarios.
What TV channels do you have? Do you offer Streaming TV?
In all pyramids there are at least two flat screen TVs with cable access and Hulu for thousands of series, movies and channels. Premium content or pay per view movies are not included and are charged separately if used.
Will there be any further costs or taxes for me on site?
Your booking price includes all costs for overnight stays as well as village activities and Wifi. Additional costs will be charged for additional services such as massages or the use of paid content on Hulu Stream TV. These are billed at checkout. This refers to direct bookings: Please note that we do not require a deposit or pre-authorization of your credit card, but we reserve the right to retain your credit card details, and charge such amounts as to compensate or make good of any loss or expense incurred. This refers to bookings with an online channel: Upon arrival, a security deposit of USD 350.00 is due and will be refunded within 10 days after your departure if no damage has been incurred.
What are your bed configurations?
All our Classic, Comfort and Luxor pyramids have one Queen Bed in one bedroom and two XL Single Beds /XL Twin Beds in the 2nd bedroom. The latter are pushed together as a standard to form a large bed, but can also be set up separately. In the Royal Pyramid there is one King Bed in the Master Bedroom and two Queen Beds in the upper bedroom.
Are the mattresses in the double beds separated?
All our pyramids, with the exception of Royal, have two XL single beds in one bedroom, which together form a large double bed with separate mattresses.
How are the bedrooms separated from the living rooms?
All bedrooms on the ground floor of the pyramids have a door to the living area. The bedrooms on the upper floor connect directly to the staircase without an additional door. With the exception of the Royal Pyramid, which has a door between the bedroom and the staircase on the upper floor.
Are your pyramids wheelchair accessible?
Only the Luxor Pyramid is approved for wheelchairs (ADA compliant), but some of our other pyramids are "disabled friendly" and suitable for people with walkers or narrower wheelchairs. Please note that the amenities at Pyramid Village are not officially ADA compliant. Some may still be enjoyed by guests with disabilities/ in need of auxiliary equipment. Please contact us for more information before your booking. When making a booking, a statement in this regard is essential to us in order to prepare our guest's stay accordingly.
What do you mean by "fully equipped kitchen?"
Our kitchens are fully equipped with everything for cooking and dining in: whether it's a saucepan, wine glass, can opener, kettle, toaster, fridge-freezer, microwave, coffee maker, stove, oven, or blender for your smoothie.
What is Allergy Friendly?
We take allergies seriously and want our sensitive guests to feel comfortable on holiday knowing they are not exposed to chemicals. The Florida climate is beneficial for allergies and people with dermatological conditions. We only use natural plant products outdoors around the village: no weed killers, no chemical fertilizers or noxious sprays! All our hypoallergenic bed linens are cleaned exclusively with hot steam in our state-of-the-art commercial machine, and towels are laundered with natural detergents. We do not use fabric softeners and linens are hung out to dry. We change the AC filters regularly. Our allergen-free flooring is both tiled and wood. The pyramids are cleaned with natural soaps, vinegar and citrus cleaners.
Do I have to climb stairs?
Not necessarily. The living area, the kitchen, as well as at least one bedroom and one bathroom are at ground level in all pyramids.
What’s your children’s policy?
Children of all ages are welcome. If you are traveling with more than two people, there is a reduced rate of $18 per night per child for additional children between 0 and 15 years old. Adult prices apply for children 16 and up. Please let us know at the time of booking if you need additional children’s amenities.
Do you accept pets?
We have a limited capacity for pets in our Comfort and Royal pyramids. Please contact us before your booking to make sure such a pyramid is available. We can only accept pets if the booking was made on our website (no external channels such as booking.com etc). There is a 2 pet per pyramid limit (pets up to 55 pounds). There is an additional charge of currently 30 USD per pet per day. Please note that pets cannot be left unattended in vacation homes and that they must be leashed while on the property.
How many people can be accommodated in the pyramids?
This depends on the pyramid category. The maximum occupancy for our Classic, Comfort and Luxor pyramids is 4 persons (infants aged 0-1 do not count towards the maximum number of occupants). The Royal pyramid can accommodate up to 6 persons. Please note that our Pyramid chalets are only reserved for the number of persons stipulated in the booking confirmation. There is an extra fee for any additional person (18 USD/night for children aged 0 to 15; 30 USD/night for adults).
Can I invite friends over?
Please note that our Pyramid chalets are only reserved for the number of persons stipulated in the booking confirmation. The admission of additional (day) visitors is subject to additional charges and subject to approval by Pyramids in Florida. Please register your guests at the reception.
How can I make a payment?
During the online booking process, you can make payment by credit card. Direct bookings or additional expenses on site (massages, equipment rentals) can be paid in cash, check or by credit card.
Is your swimming lake heated? This is not a pool, right?
It is a natural thermal lake with varying fluctuations depending on the source temperature. The lake has an average temperature between 25 and 30 degrees Celsius – 77 and 86 degrees Fahrenheit. It contains benefitting minerals of all sorts, like sulfur, magnesium, potassium, calcium, etc. The lake has a natural filter system made of quartz stones and copper iodine and is cleaned twice weekly by a specialized company. The color of the lake alternates between blue, turquoise, and green according to the composition of the minerals and depending on the cloud cover and season.
Where can I do my laundry?
Each pyramid is equipped with a modern washer-dryer. Please read the instruction manual in order to handle the device correctly. Don't hesitate to contact us in case you have questions.
How often do you clean my pyramid home?
Your rental property is cleaned prior to your arrival and upon your departure, but does not include daily maid service. Weekly maid service can be arranged with a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for an additional charge.
What is the “final cleaning fee” for?
A mandatory final cleaning fee of currently USD 150.00 plus tax applies to all bookings and includes a thorough cleaning and replacing all towels and linen. If your rental home is left excessively dirty or littered, you could be charged an additional cleaning fee. You are still subject to damage repair or replacement, so please be considerate and leave our home as you would your own.
Is there internet in the pyramids?
Yes, all pyramids are equipped with WiFi at no extra charge.
Where can I park my car?
Each pyramid has two parking spaces of its own, most of which are located directly at the pyramid.
How do I get to Pyramids in Florida?
Directions by car: Coming from Ft. Myers International Airport drive in a southward direction on Highway 41 S Tamiami Trail and make a left on Constitution Blvd. After 900 ft. turn right to enter the resort.
Is the BBQ gas tank filled at my arrival?
Due to liability reasons, Pyramids in Florida is legally not entitled to refill or replace the gas tanks in your vacation home. You may get a full tank from the authorized dealer right around the corner. However, most of the tanks have left over gas from the former renters.
How can I make a booking for a larger group?
Our booking engine allows to add several pyramids in the reservation process. Simply click on "add an additional room" and enter the respective occupancy per pyramid. For special inquiries, please contact us directly.
What am I supposed to do before check-out?
The renter is requested to leave the dishes clean and replaced in the cabinet. Bedding should be bundled on the top of bed and trash must be taken outside to receptacle. Please not: If your rental home is left excessively dirty or littered you could be charged an additional cleaning fee. You are still subject to damage repair or replacement so please be considerate and leave our home as you would your own home.
Are all pyramids non-smoking units?
Yes, smoking is strictly prohibited inside the pyramid home. The renter may smoke on the terrace only
